PVC Disposal Crisis On The Horizon, Report Warns

Falls Church, Va. — The Center for Health, Environment & Justice, Falls Church, Va., has released a report that claims the United States is on the brook of a "waste crisis" because at least 70 billion pounds of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plastic will be ready for disposal in the coming decade. The report describes the health and environmental hazards that the center says are associated with disposing the material. The report is available at www.besafenet.com.
