Republic Of Korea Joins Methane To Markets Partnership

Washington — The Republic of Korea has joined the international Methane to Markets Partnership, the Washington-based U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has announced. Korea joins the United States and 13 other countries in an effort to advance the recovery and use of methane as a clean energy source.

Countries in the partnership work with the private sector, multilateral development banks, and other governmental and non-governmental organizations. The partnership was launched in November 2004.
