Blue Bag Recycling Program To Start In Columbus, Ohio

Columbus, Ohio — Some Columbus, Ohio, residents will soon be able to recycle paper, bottles and cans by putting the items in a blue bag and placing the bag in their regular trash containers. Approximately 10,000 households will take part in the program at first. The households are ones that are served by the Solid Waste Authority of Central Ohio’s (SWACO) Jackson Pike Transfer Station.

According to SWACO, the goal is to have about 20,000 households in the program by the end of the year.
