Chicago Awards Recycling Grants To Community Groups

Chicago — The Chicago Department of Streets & Sanitation has awarded five recycling grants to community groups to develop projects to reduce the city’s waste stream. The following groups were each awarded $50,000 grants: the Garfield Park Conservatory Alliance, the Albany Park Community Center, BOLD Chicago, the Fuller Park Community Development Corporation and the Edgewater Chamber of Commerce.

Before joining Waste Age as the magazine's managing editor, he was an associate editor for American City & County and for National Real Estate Investor.

Prior to joining Penton, Stephen worked as a reporter for The Marietta Daily Journal and The Fulton County Daily Report, both of which are located in metro Atlanta.

Stephen earned a BA in History from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tenn.
