Balcones Resources, Austin, Texas, has merged with Austin Shred, Austin, Texas, and will be called “Austin Shred: a Balcones Resource Company.” Details of the merger were not disclosed.

According to a press release, Austin Shred will be the central Texas arm of the Balcones document destruction operation. Balcones is an independent paper recycler and provides comprehensive environmental services in the Southwest.
