BFI Canada Names Thomas Cowee Interim CFO

Toronto-based BFI Canada has appointed Thomas Cowee as interim chief financial officer (CFO) to replace Joseph Quarin, who is leaving the company to join a global asset management firm. Cowee is the senior vice president and CFO of Fort Worth, Texas-based IESI Corp., which is BFI Canada’s U.S. subsidiary.

Prior to joining Penton, Stephen worked as a reporter for The Marietta Daily Journal and The Fulton County Daily Report, both of which are located in metro Atlanta.

Stephen earned a BA in History from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tenn.
