Anne Germain Elected As SWANA's Technical Division Representative

Silver Spring, Md. — Anne Germain, manager of engineering at the Delaware Solid Waste Authority, has been elected as the technical division representative to the Silver Spring, Md.-based Solid Waste Association of North America’s (SWANA) Executive Committee.

Germain will replace Chris Campman of Gannet Fleming, Harrisburg, Pa. Campman has served in the role for three years. "I am extremely pleased to welcome Anne as our new technical division representative," says John Skinner, executive director and CEO of SWANA. "Her insight into the solid waste field and her knowledge and dedication to our association will be a valuable asset to our association. I would also like to thank Chris Campman for his three years of outstanding service in that position."

Before joining Waste Age as the magazine's managing editor, he was an associate editor for American City & County and for National Real Estate Investor.

Prior to joining Penton, Stephen worked as a reporter for The Marietta Daily Journal and The Fulton County Daily Report, both of which are located in metro Atlanta.

Stephen earned a BA in History from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tenn.
