Babcock & Wilcox Wins $220M Contract for WTE Facility

A Danish subsidiary of The Babcock & Wilcox Co. has been awarded contracts totaling more than $220 million to design, manufacture and operate a biomass power plant in South Yorkshire, England.

B&W Vølund bid on the project with consortium partner, Interserve Strategic Projects. It is one of several projects the consortium is working on together. As in the other cases, Interserve is the construction partner.
