The Public Works Waste Management Division of Chesapeake, Va., is starting a collection route optimization project using “RouteSmart Technologies” in an effort to make trash collection more efficient.
These technologies will be used to reconfigure the city’s existing trash collection route, making it more efficient.
The first round of results from this project is slated to be released at the end of this month.
