Waste Pro has acquired Better Waste Disposal, a commercial waste collection and disposal company that has serviced Southern Louisiana for more than 10 years.

“Better Waste has established excellent relationships within the Southern Louisiana business community throughout the years,” said Waste Pro President Deuce McAllister in a press release. “We were excited to find a company that shares our vision and to welcome a team of professionals who are as committed as we are to providing high levels of service to their customers.”

With the acquisition, Waste Pro will be able to expand its local service capability to meet the needs of the Terrebonne Parish, La., commercial and industrial community.

“Waste Pro was an ideal partner for Better Waste. We have been doing business in this region for several decades, so we wanted to partner with a company that stays connected locally but has the financial resources to meet whatever needs arise in Southern Louisiana. We had no interest in partnering with large public waste companies,” said Better Waste Disposal CEO Byron Talbot in a press release. “Partnering with Waste Pro allows us to focus 100 percent on our core construction business.”
