Waste Management Buys Nashville Recycling Facilities

Waste Management Inc. has purchased two recycling facilities in the Nashville, Tenn., area from QRS Inc.

Houston-based Waste Management bought the operations for an undisclosed amount, confirmed Ken Haldin, director – communications & community relations for the company. Further details were not available.

According to the website for the Louisville, Ky.-based QRS, the company operated the River Hills facility in Nashville and the Rivergate plant in Madison, Tenn., outside of Nashville.
