Liquid Environmental Solutions has acquired the assets of privately held Value Stream Environmental Services, a leading provider of grease trap services and used cooking oil recycling in Arkansas.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Value Stream, based in Little Rock, expands Liquid’s capacity to serve customer locations throughout Arkansas—providing grease trap service and used cooking oil (UCO) recycling for restaurant and food service locations.
“It’s a pleasure to welcome Value Stream’s service professionals and their loyal customers to LES and introduce our new Little Rock Operations Branch and Recycling Facility,” LES President and COO Gene Cookson said in a statement. “This strengthens our 54 service branch network, and adds our 23rd plant – just what we need to provide rapid response to customers throughout Arkansas. This acquisition helps LES protect our customer’s wastewater infrastructure and ensure their continued environmental compliance in the State appropriately known as The Natural State. We look forward to working with our customers, the City of Little Rock and Arkansas environmental regulators in our collective Commitment to the Environment.”
“With the acquisition of Value Stream, LES continues building the comprehensive national service network that puts us closer to each and every one of our customers and their facilities,” Alan Viterbi, CEO and co-founder of LES said in a statement. “Where yesterday LES drove from our Memphis and Shreveport branches to take care of our customers in Central Arkansas; as of today we are a proud member of the Little Rock business community. That’s better for our Arkansas customers and thus better for LES.”
