For years Waste & Recycling Expo Canada (CWRE) has been the premier platform connecting the top waste, recycling and public works companies and their latest products and services with key buyers from around the world. The 20th edition will take place October 25 – 26, 2017, at the Scotiabank Convention Centre in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada.
Co-located with CWRE, the Municipal Equipment Expo Canada (MEC), attracts public works directors, environmental project managers and many others in the industry as they find various municipal equipment, wastewater management solutions, and sustainable technology at the event.
The show kicks off its 20th anniversary in an exciting new location. “As the ultimate meeting destination and natural crossroads, having the event in Niagara Falls will open many doors to this growing industry,” states Bridget Ferris, Show Director for Waste & Recycling Expo Canada, “CWRE & MEC focuses on bringing customers and resources in the region together under one roof for two days of innovation, education and networking.”
More than 250 exhibiting companies will present their newest equipment, technology and services to potential buyers at Waste & Recycling Expo Canada and Municipal Equipment Expo Canada. Elite Exhibitors like Mack Trucks Canada, Molok North America and Paradigm Software have continuously exhibited at CWRE & MEC since the beginning.
“Many of our supporting exhibitors return each year to develop new contacts and strengthen current relationships,” comments Arnie Gess, Consultant / Show Manager for Waste & Recycling Expo Canada, “CWRE is the ideal setting for sellers and buyers to conduct business, and we look forward to another productive event connecting people, products and services.”
With 2 events in 1, there will be even more opportunities to network with industry professionals. The two day event will hold several networking functions including the Opening Night Gala Reception.
The Opening Night Gala held on October 24, 2017, at the R5 Lounge in the Fallsview Casino invites exhibitors and attendees to a fun-filled evening of networking before the show opens. Attendees are also welcome to sign up for the Ontario Waste Management Association’s (OWMA) Waste Sector Tours to get a hands-on look at the inner workings of waste disposal and recycling facilities in the Niagara area.
Additionally, the 8th annual Canadian Waste to Resource Conference (CWRC) offers an educational element to the exhibition. Hosted by OWMA, visitors can expect more than 35 workshop sessions covering the latest waste management trends, environmental news, current municipal policies and much more.
Furthermore, Waste & Recycling Expo Canada and Municipal Equipment Expo Canada will introduce the automotive aftermarket into the show. With a need for fleet maintenance and repair, municipalities and shop owners can find truck parts and equipment in the new Fleet Care Pavilion. Companies such as Fleetmatics, Hamilton Radiator, Frontier Fuels, Provix Inc. and many more will be displaying their heavy duty products and services in this special feature area on the show floor.
