Baler Safety Video
The Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries Inc. (ISRI), Washington, D.C., offers “Working Safe and Smart with Balers,” a safety training video to prevent baler accidents and teach safety techniques. The Energy Information Administration (EIA), an agency of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Washington, D.C., has released its annual “Emissions of Greenhouse Gas in the United States,” 2000 report. Prepared by the EIA's Office of Integrated Analysis and Forecasting, the report presents the latest estimates of emissions of carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide and other greenhouse gases. Paper Recycling Guide
The American Forest and Paper Association (AF&PA), Washington, D.C., has published Paper Recycling Symbol Guidelines & Environmental Marketing Claims, a revised guide for using the paper recycling symbol. The guide includes information on making environmental marketing claims, and updated information from the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and the International Organization for Standardization (IOS) on using the recycling symbol.
