Ripple Glass Launches Glass Collection Program for Bars and Restaurants

Ripple Glass, the Kansas City, Mo.-based glass recycling company, is launching a commercial glass collection program for local businesses. The company is currently accepting applications and hopes to begin collection by April 2018.

“This program has been a long time coming,” said Michelle Goth, general manager – Kansas City for Ripple Glass, in a statement. “Every day, we receive phone calls from local businesses asking if we can pick up their glass, and we’re thrilled to finally have a solution for them. We hope to have this service available throughout the entire metro within a year’s time.”

Ripple Glass will begin with four initial routes in the Kansas City area and expect to expand as their collection ability grows with the demand of the metro area.

“Commercial glass consumers have been asking for direct service since our founding in 2009,” said Mike Utz, president and co-founder of Ripple Glass, in a statement. “We are pleased to be in position to offer this service now, furthering our mission to provide a comprehensive glass recycling system to Kansas City.”
