Electronics Recycler ProTek Partners with New York Building Management Firm

Electronics recycler ProTek Recycling has partnered with office building manager BevMax Office Centers.

Through the partnership the tenants in the New York-based BevMax’s six office buildings in Manhattan will be able to safely dispose of their used computer and electronic equipment at no cost, according to a news release.

The Albany, N.Y.-based ProTek's method focuses on the reuse of electronics first. Any equipment that cannot be reused is separated in-house and the materials returned to manufacturing. This allows ProTek to handle all types of electronics, not just computers and monitors.
